NJ Country Music Fest Canceled

A two-day country music and food truck festival in Atlantic City was abruptly canceled Sept. 19 by organizers who cited “unforeseen circumstances.”

The Garden State Country Music & Food Truck Festival was to bring 20 artists and more than 40 food trucks to Bader Field Sept. 30 and Oct. 1. The cancellation was announced on the event’s Facebook page by organizers Jersey Boyz Production of Clark, N.J.

The announcement added that Jersey Boyz is “going to try to find a mutually agreeable date to reschedule the Artists should their schedules permit” and ticketholders are given an option of a full refund or a voucher for the full ticket price plus 20 percent at a local club.

“We are currently in talks with them to reschedule the acts,” Rob Erickson, a managing partner with Jerzey Boyz, told the Press of Atlantic City.

The festival was to have featured artists including Dan + Shay, Chase Rice and the Eli Young Band.
