Dehydration Stops Glenn Hughes Gig

Glenn Hughes, solo artist as well as famed bass player for Black Country Communion, recently cut a show short by 15 minutes at Horncastle Arena in New Zealand Sept. 26 because of apparent dehydration.

Hughes felt dizzy and his assistant helped him off stage, his North American agent, Dan DeVita of TKO, told Pollstar via email, adding that Hughes is back on track for tonight’s show at Michael Fowler Centre in Wellington.

Hughes reportedly spent the night at a Christchurch hospital being treated for dehydration and fatigue.
