Elite 100: The Killers, Post Malone

The Killers kill it for the week, with the release of a new album putting them on top for the week, doubling Post Malone‘s total in the No. 2 spot. 

Rapper Post Malone is still riding high on streaming and singles sale for his latest release, “Rockstar.” But Macklemore cracks the No. 4 spot after releasing his second LP, Gemini, with strong album sales as well as streaming activityIt’s Macklemore’s first LP since splitting with former collaborator Ryan Lewis.  

Kevin Gates takes the No. 5 spot following the release of a new mixtape called By Any Means 2, with features from 2 Chainz, Plies and Doe B. 

Last week’s No. 1, Foo Fighters, drops to No. 18.

Pollstar, with the BuzzAngle Music-powered Elite 100 Artists Chart, gives a snapshot of the week’s top-selling artists based on music sales and streaming, counting data from the U.S. and Canada.

All product, not just current releases, by that artist are included in the figures and the total for ranking purposes is based on an album sale equaling 1, 10 song sales equal 1 album, and 1,500 on-demand streams equal 1 album.
