Not only did the Las Vegas shooter nearly get a room overlooking Life Is Beautiful, it’s now being reported he actually did get two rooms overlooking Grant Park in Chicago during Lollapalooza.

Steve Paddock booked two rooms at the Blackstone Hotel, which overlooked the event, according to TMZ, and he would have had a similar view as that from Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, which overlooked the Route 91 Harvest festival.

The festival was held Aug. 3-6 and Paddock’s rooms were booked Aug. 1-6, but he never showed up, according to the Daily Mail. This follows a report that Paddock attempted to book a room that overlooked the Life Is Beautiful Festival that took place in Las Vegas two weekends before the deadly shooting at Route 91 Harvest.

Lollapalooza featured Muse, Chance The Rapper, and The Killers among many others and one of the attendees was former President Barack Obama’s daughter Malia.
