Sam Smith Looks For A Thrill

With the approaching release of his sophomore album, The Thrill Of It All, Sam Smith announced a summer 2018 North American routing.

The Thrill Of It All, out Nov. 3 via Capitol Records, is the follow up to Smith’s Grammy-winning debut. Lead single “Too Good For Goodbyes,” opens the 10-track LP, which features YEBBA, Timbaland, Malay, Jason “Poo Bear” Boyd, Stargate and long-time Smith collaborator Jimmy Napes. Fans who pre-order the album will get their hands on the LP’s closing track, “Pray.”

The three-country spanning tour opens at Toronto’s Air Canada Centre June 18.  The singer-songwriter will make stops in cities including New York, Miami, Los Angeles and Mexico City. Catch Smith before wrapping up the adventure at the Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary, Alberta, Sept. 13.

Dates reported to Pollstar for Smith’s 2015 North American arena outing showed sell-out venues from coast-to-coast with the tour grossing nearly $11 million.  

Fans can access a special pre-sale staring Oct.11, while the general sale begins Oct. 12. Each ticket purchased in the U.S. includes a copy of the new album.
