Power Rangers Suit Up For Theatre Tour

It’s Morphin Time! Power Rangers Live is gearing up for a high-octane celebration of the franchise’s 25 year anniversary.

Saban’s Power Rangers will be onstage around the country with mixed-media stage production, epic costumes, music, stunts and martial arts streamlined for entire families to appreciate.

The tour opens in Phoenix’s Comerica Theatre Feb. 17 and continues for more than two months, ending April 22 in Las Vegas’s Cox Pavilion. There are plenty of other regions besides on the Southwest on the menu, including the Northwest, Midwest, South and Northeast.

A presale for Citi cardholders is on now and the general onsale begins Oct. 13.

The suited protectors of the earth known as the Power Rangers have been through many changes in the 24 years since the first episode of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers aired in 1993. Major motion pictures, video games, comic books and the live show have all given fans the Rangers’ experience for decades.

The venues for the tour are going to be theatres, with maximum capacities ranging from 2,000 to 5,000. One advantage with family-targeted content like Power Rangers is that usually the parents end up buying tickets for themselves, right next to the kid. One of the top performing tours for the first three quarters this year was “Disney On Ice.”
