Brantley Gilbert Don’t Sleep, Plots More Dates

Brantley Gilbert is kicking off his “The Ones That Like Me 2018 Tour” Feb. 1 at the DCU Center in Worcester, Mass., with 36 total dates on the East Coast and Southern U.S. taking him into May.

More dates are promised for the tour, which the announcement says will surely be “Gilbert’s most gauntlet-throwing live experience yet.”

The Georgia-born country artist explained the name of the tour, saying, “I want to call it something that speaks to what this tour is: a chance for me to get together with all the people out there who get this music, who believe in these songs and live their lives just like the people back home do.”

Gilbert on social media also promised that fans will be heavily involved in the tour, including helping choose the setlist. 

Gilbert already spent most of 2017 on the road with support from artists including Tyler Farr, Luke Combs and Brian Davis among others.

Pollstar box office reports from Gilbert’s 2017 dates include a sold-out Wharf Amphitheatre in Orange Beach, Ala., June 3 (8,175 tickets, $337,025 gross), Wells Fargo Arena April 28 (7,202, $271,564, and 11,247 tickets sold for a July 28 show at the Bethel Woods Center For the Arts in New York, which grossed $383,304.

Gilbert is touring in support of his The Devil Don’t Sleep LP which dropped in January and debuted at No. 1 on the US Country charts.

2018 dates include Times Union Center in Albany Feb. 3, James Brown Arena in Augusta, Ga., Feb. 16,  Tuscaloosa Amphitheater in Alabama March 24, Salem Civic Center in Virginia April 20, Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Mich., May 11, and the final date of the leg is at Erie Insurance Arena in Pennsylvania May 12.  A fan presale begins Oct. 17, with the general onsale Oct. 20.
