Fans Try To Storm Barclays, Get Locked Out

The Barclays Center locked out a group of fans after they attempted to storm the venue Oct. 26.

The fans were trying to enter the venue for the sold-out annual Power 105.1 Powerhouse concert, which featured performances from The Weeknd, Migos and Cardi B, among others.

Despite heavy security, fans without tickets tried to rush the arena’s entrances, according to CBS New York.

Videos posted to social media show a large group of fans crowded into the area outside Barclay’s main entrance. 

The chaos led to the venue locking its doors and police being called to disperse the crowd.

No one was allowed inside after the doors closed, including those who had tickets.

A statement released by the Barclay’s Center said fans who had tickets but were locked out would be refunded.
