Jason Aldean resumes his tour at BOK Center in Tulsa, Okla., Oct. 12 after cancelling some shows in the wake of the Las Vegas mass shooting.

Police said Steven Michael Hulbert, 22, was arrested on aggravated assault charges for allegedly firing multiple shots at another man in the BancorpSouth Arena parking lot at about 11 p.m.  The victim, whose name wasn’t released, was struck in the chest and treated at a nearby hospital. He was released the next day

Officers were at the arena working security for the concert when there was a call of shots fired. Witnesses said there was an argument between a small group of men. Hulbert allegedly pulled out a handgun and fired four to six shots, hitting the victim and vehicles parked in the area.

Hulbert was taken into custody when police stopped his car as he tried to leave.

The incident happened less than a month after Aldean was performing at the Route 91 Harvest Festival in Las Vegas when a man started shooting from a room in the nearby Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino, killing 58 and injuring 500 others.
