A&R Award Winners
The second annual A&R Awards at the Sheraton Grand Park Lane in London, Nov. 1, saw

at the A&R Awards in London Nov. 1.
Universal Music Publishing Group’s Caroline Elleray won the Sir George Martin Award, which recognizes A&R executives “with a track record of fostering meaningful artist and songwriter relationships, who has garnered widespread respect amongst the creative community,” according to Music Business Worldwide, which hosts the ceremony.
Infectious Music’s Corda Marshall was named the A&R Icon. Steve Mac scored twice, as Producer and Songwriter of the Year.
Several individuals were named A&R of the Year in their respective genres: Decca’s Tom Lewis (Adult Contemporary), Polydor’s Jamie Spinks (Electronic/Dance), Black Butter’s Joe Gossa (Hip-hop/Grime), Columbia’s Julian Palmer (Pop/R&B) and Young Turk’s Caius Pawson (Rock/Alternative).
Young Turks also took home the Independent Label of the Year award, while Atlantic won in the major category. Guy Singh was named A&R Trailblazer, and Bill Curbishley received the Artist Loyalty Award.
Other winners included Universal Music Publishing Group (Major Publisher), Reservoir (Independent Publisher), Loyle Carner (The Breaking Artist Award) and Sony Music’s Matthew Gibbon (A&R Administrator).
