Faith Hill and Tim McGraw bring their “Soul2Soul Tour” to Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Mich., June 15.
The new “Soul2Soul” tour dates start May 31 in Richmond, Va., and continues for nearly three months, wrapping July 22 in Sacramento, Calif.
An American Express presale begins Nov. 10, but the date you want to remember is Nov. 17.
The general onsale is scheduled for Nov. 17, the same day the couple’s new album, The Rest of Our Life, is due out and the tour film “Tim & Faith: Soul2Soul” premieres on Showtime. Each ticket purchases includes The Rest Of Our Life.
The couple also has three dates scheduled in the United Kingdom and Ireland in March.
Tim and Faith just wrapped up a lengthy North American leg of the tour Oct. 27 in Brooklyn, N.Y.’s Barclays Center. The first date of that trek was April 7 in New Orleans. The artists were excellent about reporting the data from that first leg of the Soul2Soul tour, so we have some great numbers to sink our teeth into.
The most striking figure for McGraw and Hill’s joint tour is the average attendance: 100 percent. Nearly every reported show reported 100 percent of tickets sold except two nights in Uncasville, Conn., which posted 97 percent.
The couple is close to 1 million tickets sold for the tour, though there are no more shows currently scheduled in the year so they may not hit that milestone before 2018. The total reported attendance for the tour is 931,959.
Our analysis of the most recent Pollstar Global Concert Pulse chart yesterday showed that Hill and McGraw have the highest-ranking country tour of the last three months.
One other notable aspect of “Soul2Soul” is the volume of support acts that have joined. Openers on the tour included Margo Price, LoCash, Steve Moakler, Chris Janson, Cam, Brandy Clark, Eric Paslay, Brent Cobb, Ben Rector, Natalie Hemby, Maggie Rose, Devin Dawson, Rhiannon Giddens, Rachel Platten, Lori McKenna, Charlie Worsham, High Valley, Caitlyn Smith,
