CAA Promotes Gertner And Schwartz

Creative Artists Agency announced Nov. 27 the promotion of Risa Gertner and Sherrie Sage Schwartz to the company’s Management Committee.

“We are thrilled to welcome Sherrie and Risa to the management team, and are enormously excited about their important contributions in this new role,” said CAA President Richard Lovett.  “Risa and Sherrie are extraordinary executives whose voices at theGertner joined CAA in 1996 and has been co-head of the industry-leading motion picture literary business for about 20 years. Her clients include Ron Howard, Simon Kinberg, Seth MacFarlane, Alex Kurtzman, Susannah Grant, Tony Gilroy, and J.C. Chandor.

As Global Chief Human Resources Officer, Schwartz leads the agency’s people efforts, and has launched new programs focused on support for the employee and leadership needs of the agency.  She was previously senior vice president of human resources for Activision Publishing, a division of Activision Blizzard.
