General admission, layaway options, and VIP, hotel and camping packages are already onsale the festival’s website for those looking for the perfect holiday gift to themselves or their favorite headbanger. And fans should not procrastinate – last year, the festival’s biggest, more than 135,000 tickets went clean within a month of onsale, according to organizers.

While some festivals folded their tents or reported softer than expected sales in recent years, suggesting a glut in the market, Rock on the Range continues to thrive and is just one of several successful hard rock events produced and promoted by Danny Wimmer Presents, which partnered with AEG to produce and promote the fest beginning in 2014.

Since its 2007 debut, ROTR has grown every year, with the initial single-day event selling out its 26,715 capacity. The festival sold out four consecutive years after expanding to 120,000 capacity as well its latest expansion to 135,000.

Rock on the Range offers not only a lineup of some 60 performers across three stages, but also showcases comedy at the ROTR Rolling Rock Comedy Tent and as other onsite festival experiences that fans expect. Comedians will be announced in early 2018.

“Following last year’s amazing festival we knew we had to deliver,” ROTR Executive Producer Gary Spivack said. “We have one of the only shows from Tool in 2017, a band the Rangers have been wanting for years – and also having A Perfect Circle on the same festival is something special. Adding Avenged Sevenfold, Alice In Chains, Godsmack and the special returns of Stone Sour and Stone Temple Pilots only builds on that excitement. We can’t wait for May.”
