Miguel Unveils ‘War & Leisure’ Dates

Seattle, Denver, Philadelphia and Houston are among the cities on Miguel’s to-do list when the funkster embarks on “The War & Leisure Tour” with support by SiR and Nonchalant Savant.

News of the tour arrives just days before Miguel’s fourth studio album, War & Leisure, drops Dec. 1. The single “Pineapple Skies” was released earlier this month.

For Miguel, the road to his 2018 tour began with this year’s release of “Sky Walker,” which accrued nearly 100M streams worldwide and continues to receive radio love.  Miguel performed an acoustic version of “Sky Walker” on “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.

Miguel’s charisma is also on the big screen.  The performer provides the voice for Anthony Gomez on Pixar’s smash animated hit “Coco,” and sang the film’s “Remember Me” with Mexican pop star

Miguel’s last major road trip was in 2016 when he appeared on Sia’s North American tour.  The artist’s last headlining adventure was in 2015 that included two sold-out nights in Oakland at the Oakland Theatre, and filled-to-capacity single evenings in Chicago, New York, Minneapolis, Seattle and Portland, Ore.  The outing grossed approximately $980,002.

Launching Feb. 22 in Portland, Ore., The War & Leisure Tour” includes Seattle; Vancouver, British Columbia; Salt Lake City, Aspen, Chicago and New York among the destinations.
