New Festival Blooms In Houston

Houston’s Free Press Summer Festival is moving its dates and changing its name to In Bloom Music Festival.

The “reborn” event, produced by a founder of Free Press Music Festival, C3 Presents, Starr Hill Presents and Pegstar Concerts, will take place in downtown Houston’s Eleanor Tinsley Park March 24-25.

The festival will feature more than 50 performances on four stages.

“We are excited to announce a new name and a new time of year, while returning to our incredible home, Eleanor Tinsley Park,” festival co-founder Jagi Katial said in a statement. “We are always looking to improve the experience for the fans, and after the last few years of challenges with Mother Nature, moving our dates to the spring made sense.”

General admission and pre-sale tickets are on sale now. The lineup will be released in December.
