REO / Styx / Felder Ride Again
REO Speedwagon and Styx, along with special guest Don Felder, are picking up where they left off this summer, doing a March-April run (right after REO finishes its winter schedule).
REO and Styx have merged their performances for decades. The two band recorded a live album and DVD in 2000 called Arch Allies: Live at Riverport at Riverport Amphitheatre in Missouri. In 2009, the bands hit the road together for the “Can’t Stop Rockin’ Tour.” They did the same thing in 2012 and 2013.
“We played 25-plus shows with our buddies Styx and Don Felder this past summer, and that was just simply not enough,” REO’s Kevin Cronin said in a statement. “The 2017 tour was too much fun, and there was so many more places to play. So we are gearing back up for a spring 2018 run. When REO and Styx put our energy together the audience is the big winner.”
