Declan McKenna Plans U.S. Adventure
The artist is promoting his debut album, What Do You Think About the Car?, released in July of this year. The young McKenna had a hit on his hands with the socially-conscious song “Brazil” that he released through YouTube in 2014. He followed that up with plays at major festivals like Glastonbury, Lollapalooza, Reading and Leeds, and Summer Sonic in Japan.

Tickets go on sale to the general public Dec. 9 at 10 a.m. local time. Select presales begin tomorrow, Dec. 6.
In addition to the gigs, McKenna is planning appearances at high schools for performances and Q&A sessions with students.
McKenna just finished a club tour of Europe in November. While some of those venues tended to be small (like the 150-capacity Maze in Berlin), he had no problem filling most of those rooms we have reports from. The English singer and guitarist also opened for The Head And The Heart last year, and is in prime position to start building a massive U.S. following with this tour.
