Juanes Hits The States
Latin Rock superstar Juanes is heading north for his co-heading North American “Amarte Tour” with fellow Latin alternative artist Mon Laferte.

Mon Laferte and Juanes duet during Estamos Unidos Mexicanos benefit concert at Mexico City’s main square, Zocalo, Oct. 8 to help relief efforts after the Sept. 7 and Sept. 19 earthquakes.
The trek kicks off April 20 at the Amway Center in Orlando, Fla. The duo will rock several cities, including New York, Boston, Dallas and Los Angeles before wrapping up at the Pechanga Theatre in Temecula, Calif., May 20.
Juanes, the most awarded solo artist in Latin Grammy history, recently added two more gramophones to his collection for his album Mis Planes Son Amarte.
Mon Lafertre, a rising star in the world of Latin alternative, received five Latin Grammy nominations and took home the best alternative song award for “Amárrame,” which featured a duet with Juanes.
Juanes’ last U.S. show, which took place at Miami’s AmericanAirlines Arena, sold 5,238 tickets and grossed $211,850, according to Pollstar’s box office reports. On average, the singer grosses more than $236,000 per show.
