Walker Hayes Goes ‘Boom’

With his debut album dropping later this week, Country artist Walker Hayes has plenty to celebrate, including the news of a 2018 tour beginning in February.  Beginning on the East Coast, destinations include Boston, Chicago, Savannah and San Martin, Calif.

Walker’s new release, boom, arrives Dec. 8 and includes the single “You Broke Up With Me.”  Taking a line from the song, Hayes has dubbed his winter-spring outing the “Good as Gold” tour. 

“I am so humbled by folks wanting to see this live that we can do this,” Hayes said.  “I’m so honored to have so many supporters – from my peers to the industry to Country radio – on this crazy journey with me.  You all have absolutely changed my life.”

Launching at Mohegan Sun’s Wolf Den in Uncasville, Conn., Feb. 1, the “Good as Gold” tour has lined up venues such as Paradise Rock Club in Boston, Cleveland’s House Of Blues, Detroit’s St. Andrews Hall and Buck Owens’  Crystal Palace in Bakersfield, Calif.  Last stop is Clos LaChance Winery in San Martin, Calif.
