Chris Daughtry of Daughtry rocks the DTE Energy Center in Clarkston, Mich., June 24.

Daughtry lays down its first 2018 leg of dates, a March-April rumble beginning in Fort Myers, Fla., with Baltimore, Atlantic City and Milwaukee also part of the plan and tickets going on sale later this week.

The Grammy-nominated band just might have some new music to road test.

“We are very much looking forward to hitting the road again and reconnecting with our fans!” Daughtry said.  “We’ve been grinding away in the studio working diligently on our fifth album and cannot wait to share  the new material in 2018!  Our fans have waited long enough.”

The 2018 tour will be Daughtry’s first excursion in the new year.  Having spent 2017 touring with Nickelback, Daughtry’s last headlining run was in 2016, selling out 1,573-capacity Paramount in Huntington, N.Y., and the 1,408-seat Venue in King of Prussia, Pa.

Other reports show the group hitting 97 percent capacity at Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom in Hampton Beach, N.H., and 50 percent if the house at Santander Performing Arts Center in Reading, Pa.

Sinclair opens on the new dates.  Presales begin today and general onsales launch April 15 at 10 a.m. local time. Click here for Daughtry’s Pollstar page
