Sugarland Headed Back On Tour In 2018

Kristian Bush and Jennifer Nettles are hitting the road this summer, marking Sugarland’s first tour since 2012. 

Today’s tour announcement consists of a list of cities, with venues and dates to come. The news follows the release of the single “Still The Same” and the duo’s performance at New York’s Times Square as part of Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve 2018.

“And now for the moment we’ve certainly been waiting for… we are headed to a city near you this summer!!!” Sugarland posted on social media Jan. 3. Check out the list of cities below, in alphabetical order. 

As for the tickets, fans can sign up for the group’s newsletter via SugarlandMusic.com to take part in the fan presale that begins Jan. 9. 

Since taking a break from touring as Sugarland, Bush and Nettles have been busy spending time on their solo careers, with both artists playing dates up through 2017. Bush released his debut solo studio album, Southern Gravity, in 2015. Nettles has released two solo studio albums in the past few years – 2014’s That Girl and 2016’s Playing With Fire – as well as her debut studio holiday album, 2016’s To Celebrate Christmas.   

Sugarland’s most recent studio album is its fifth, 2010’s The Incredible Machine. The duo’s 2012 tour played venues such as the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles; PNC Music Pavilion in Charlotte, N.C.; Huntington Center in Toledo, Ohio; and MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre in Tampa, Fla., with an average gross of $325,151 per show.
