Taylor Swift Announces Additional Stadium Gigs
John Davisson – Taylor Swift
Appearing at 99.7 Now! Poptopia at SAP Center in San Jose, Calif., Dec. 2.
Taylor Swift’s mammoth “reputation” Stadium Tour grows even larger as ticket demands result in the pop songstress adding shows on both coasts, Minnesota and Texas.
Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif., is the first city on the schedule receiving additional Taylor love. The city is still the second stop on the tour, but Swift has added May 11 to the previously announced May 12 show. Other venues receiving multiple nights are FedExField in Landover, Mass.; Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, MetLife Stadium in E. Rutherford, N.J.; Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Mass.; U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis; and AT&T Stadium near Dallas in Arlington, Texas.
While many markets have moved up to two nights, E. Rutherford and Foxboro have upped the ante to three nights hosting Taylor.
Is there a venue in these United States that wouldn’t want multiple nights of Taylor? Highly unlikely when you consider her ever-growing trail of sell-out performances. Pollstar’s fabulous box office calculators put her total reported U.S. gross upwards of $580 million, more than many states’ lottery super jackpots.
Here are the new dates (bolded), along with the previously announced shows in the same markets:
