Bruno Mars, The Killers And Muse To Headline BottleRock 2018

BottleRock Napa Valley hasn’t let wildfire, floods or earthquakes derail the California destination music and culinary fest in recent years, and proves it is as resilient as ever with a 2018 lineup topped by Bruno Mars, The Killers and Muse.

Tickets go on sale Tuesday (Jan. 9) at 10 a.m. local time at the BottleRock website. Three-day passes start at $349, with a VIP upgrade available for $749 that includes access to the VIP Village, an oasis featuring premium bars, expanded culinary offerings, a VIP viewing deck, comfy seats, shade, live acoustic performances on the VIP Acoustic stage, DJ sets, upgraded VIP-only restrooms and much more – all located adjacent to the main stage.

But for the luxe BottleRock experience, the Skydeck Pass and SPG + American Express VIP Viewing Suites at $1,500 offer the top perks of the festival, including access to an elevated viewing deck, all-day complimentary beer, cocktails and wines, and much more.

More than 80 artists including the Chainsmokers, Halsey, Snoop Dogg, The Head & The Heart, Billy Idol, and Thievery Corporation are confirmed for the May 25-27 bash along with the usual array of food, wine and craft beer vendors and chef demonstrations this unique festival, presented by JaM Cellars, has become known for.

The full lineup, as usual, represents a broad cross-section of music and has a distinctly NorCal flavor with regional favorites including Moonalice, Michael Franti & Spearhead, St. Paul & The Broken Bones, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Lake Street Dive, Allen Stone, Watsky and an appearance by the Napa Valley Youth Symphony.

Last year, BottleRock sold out with more than 120,000 fans in attendance for headliners Foo Fighters, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, and Maroon 5

Heading into its sixth year, BottleRock will again present its Williams-Sonoma Culinary Stage, featuring mashups of renowned chefs and rock stars in popular cooking demonstrations.

“We are thrilled about this year’s lineup featuring world-renowned artists who combined have won 39 Grammy, Billboard Music and American Music Awards and received 150 nominations,” said Dave Graham, CEO of BottleRock Napa Valley and BottleRock Presents, in a statement.

“In addition to the incredible music, we aim to make the guest experience the best in the business, giving all of our attendees access to the extraordinary food, wine, craft brew, spirits and hospitality they have come to expect from BottleRock Napa Valley.”

Organizers Graham and Latitude 38 last year partnered with Live Nation to expand BottleRock, which debuted in 2013 to rave reviews but, behind the scenes, faced financial disaster and eventual bankruptcy. Graham and his team acquired the festival’s brand and assets, and within three years rebuilt it from the ground up into one of the country’s best events.

Live Nation acquired a majority stake in BottleRock last year, but Graham, along with his original partners Justin Dragoo and Jason Scoggins, continue to tend to the day-to-day details of booking and managing what is now a premier destination festival. Of his partnership with Live Nation, Graham told Pollstar he “couldn’t be happier. It’s a true partnership.”
