Jake Kennedy Moves To UTA Nashville
Music agent Jake Kennedy joined United Talent Agency’s Nashville office, starting the new gig last week after working at CAA’s Music City outpost for nearly five years.
With more than 10 years under his belt, including working for Buddy Lee Attractions and New Frontier Touring, Kennedy brings a wealth of experience including developing touring strategies and careers of artists including Montgomery Gentry, Kellie Pickler, Walker County, Michael Tyler, Colin Hay, Steve Holy, and Jason Michael Carroll.
The move is just the latest among Nashville’s agencies, which are undergoing a bit of a realignment, at the same time UTA is growing.
“I’ve been watching the momentum at UTA continue to progress, which fueled my decision to join the agency,” Kennedy said in a statement. “It’s an innovative space for artists to thrive and I’m looking forward to working with the team in Nashville.”
UTA’s Global Head of Music David Zedeck added, “We’re excited to have Jake join our team in Nashville. Jake’s experience working with developing and superstar artists makes him a great addition to UTA.”
Pollstar has reached out to UTA to learn which, if any, of Kennedy’s clients will be joining him at UTA.
