AEG Bringing Summer Concert Series To Colorado Shed

AEG Presents Rocky Mountains has partnered to launch the new summer concert series Whistle Pig Vail at the Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater in Vail, Colo.

Artists and schedule for the summer series are forthcoming, but “will bring well-known rock, pop, country and bluegrass icons to Vail for six to eight ticketed shows throughout the summer, including back-to-back concerts Aug. 17-1 as part of the Colorado Classic Vail.” The venue is 2,500 capacity with lawn.

“The Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater is one of the most beautiful venues in the world, and we can’t wait to help bring more world-class music to the Colorado mountains with the Whistle Pig Vail concert series,” AEG Rocky Mountains Co-President Don Strasburg said in a statement.

This year the venue hosted Dead Man Winter, Lukas Nelson & Promise of The Real, and the Mountain Games featuring Trevor Hall, Keller Williams, White Denim and others June 8-10.

AEG Rocky Mountains books venues including Ogden Theatre in Denver, 1stBank Center in Broomfield,  Gothic Theatre in Englewood, Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre in Englewood and Bluebird Theater in Denver and puts on shows at Red Rocks as well, with dates just announced including Above & Beyond, as well as Beats Antique
