The facility, located northeast of Philadelphia, is said to be one of the largest and most technically advanced in the area with a Vegas flair to its design.  The center features two 16-foot-by-9-foot IMAX video screens, state-of-the-art lighting, sound and acoustics and flexible seating.

Backstage amenities include a crew lounge, meet-and-greet area, laundry facilities, multiple restrooms and five dressing rooms on two floors, a large loading dock area that can accommodate multiple trucks and a secure outdoor picnic area for artists.

The venue is part of a $50 million expansion project that will also add two new restaurants and an exclusive poker room, according to Bucks County Courier Times.

The Bowery Presents/AEG and Bonfire Entertainment have an exclusive booking agreement with Parx Casino.

“Bringing elite, worldwide talent to the very best facilities is what we do best,” The Bowery Presents/AEG’s Mark Shulman said in a statement. “The experience that artists and fans will have at the Xcite Center is unparalleled in the region.

Concerts on the books include Bill Engvall, Paul Rodgers, Wayne Brady, The Commodores, Gabriel Iglesias, Rascal Flatts, Third Eye Blind and Reba, to name a few.

“We’re thrilled to partner with AEG and their companies with the new Xcite Center. They understand the vision of the owners on the level of entertainment they want to have at Parx Casino,” Helmet Perzi, director of entertainment, said in a statement.
