Celine Dion To Play Japan, Philippines, Thailand on Pacific Rim Tour

Celine Dion has lined up a summer venture that includes stops in Tokyo, Bangkok and Manila.  Ticket sales for select dates begin as early as next week.

Announced on her website, the tour begins June 26 at the Tokyo Dome and wraps July 23 at Bangkok’s Impact Arena.  Taipei, Macao, Singapore, Jakarta, Taipei and Manila are also on the routing.

Of course, Dion’s  Las Vegas residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace rolls on with dates in January and March as well as in April through June.

A browse through Pollstar’s box office records for Dion shows the singer’s 2008 two-night engagement at Tokyo Dome filling 95 percent of capacity for a $1.7 million total gross.
