Latin Pop/Rock stars Gloria Trevi and Alejandra Guzmán, nominated for Latin Tour Of the Year at the upcoming Pollstar Awards, have been taking North America by storm with their “Versus” tour since June of last year. Today the ladies shared plans to continue the trek until April in the U.S., with a run through Latin America planned as well.
The new dates start in Guadalajara, Mexico, Feb. 7 and jump to Colombia Feb. 23-24, in Bogota and Medellin, and to Puerto Rico March 2.
The U.S and Canada dates start March 7 in Hidalgo, Texas, and run until April 14 at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. Presales to this leg start Jan. 16 and the general onsale opens Jan. 19 at 10 a.m. local time.
“Versus” has been big business, with 361,960 tickets reported to Pollstar in 2017 and a whopping gross of $23,066,434.
That was good enough to get the ladies to No. 88 on the 2017 Top 100 Worldwide Tours chart. Trevi and Guzmán reported an average ticket price of $63, well below many of their peers on that list, showing they are trying to keep tickets affordable.
