Forecastle Sets Lineup: Chris Stapleton, Arcade Fire and Modest Mouse To Headline

Music fans enter the 2017 Forecastle Festival in Louisville, Ky.

Louisville’s Forecastle Festival unveils a lineup that includes Jason Isbell & The 400 Unit, Houndmouth, The War On Drugs, Father John Misty, Vance Joy, Courtney Barnett, NF, Jimmy Eat World,

Framed by the downtown Louisville skyline, Waterfront Park will host Forecastle July 13-15.  

Described as a “three-day celebration of music, arts and activism” by promoter AC Entertainment, Forecastle has replaced its GA Plus ticket option with the brand-spanking-new Yacht Club Ticket Option that includes access to the Mary M. Miller Steamboat and Boathouse and its exclusive bar, plus a commemorative Yacht Club gift and special entrance lanes into the fest.  Other VIP weekend passes include Mast and Boom stage viewing areas, an air-conditioned lounge in an exclusive VIP “hang area.” Bourbon Lodge membership and a commemorative mug.

But wait, there’s more!  Like the Kentucky Bourbon Trail outpost as well as The Gonzo Bar, dedicated to the memory of the late, great Gonzo journalist Hunter S. Thompson, a bourbon aficionado.

The 2017 Forecastle Festival sold all its 25,000-plus tickets and reached a final gross of $2,991, 517.
