According to Reuters, Cindy Frey has accused Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City over its treatment of the guitarist and songwriter’s stomach issues.  Frey died in January 2016 at age 67 of complications from ulcerative colitis, pneumonia and rheumatoid arthritis, the band said.

As a result of the allegedly negligent treatment, “Glenn Frey was rendered sick, sore, lame and disabled,” according to the complaint filed Jan. 16.

The suit seeks unspecified damages. Cindy Frey had three children with her late husband and oversees his estate, according to Reuters.
