Insomniac announced its bringing its titanic Electric Daisy Carnival to Shanghai this spring.

The EDM festival will touch down in Shanghai International Music Park April 29-30, along with its signature stages, including kinectFIELD, circuitGROUNDS, neonGARDEN, boomboxARTCAR and its latest to debut overseas, kineticTEMPLE.

The lineup has yet to be announced.

“To bring EDC halfway around the world is a milestone for our entire Insomniac family,” Insomniac founder and CEO Pasquale Rotella said in a testament. “China marks EDC’s sixth international location, and I’m excited to connect and create beautiful new moments with the country’s passionate and ever-growing dance music community.”

Early Bird two-day GA tickets go on sale Feb. 4 at 8 a.m. PT.

Live Nation-owned Insomniac is working with local promoter Zebra Entertainment Enterprise to produce the festival. EDC events take place all over the world, with festivals staged in the U.K., Mexico, Japan, India, Brazil and, of course, the U.S.

Last year’s edition of EDC in Mexico City placed No. 18 on Pollstar’s Year End Top 20 Worldwide Festival grosses chart, with 188,152 tickets sold and more than 6.8 million grossed.
