CTS Eventim’s Venuepoint Hires Jens B. Arnesen

Effective March 1, Jens B. Arnesen is going to lead the growth of Danish ticketing company Venuepoint, which is co-owned by CTS Eventim and Nordic film distributor Nordisk Film.

Arnesen joins Venuepoint from C More, Denmark’s version of Netflix, where he has been serving as country manager since Dec. 2016. Prior to that he was sales and marketing manager at Danish media company Berlingske Media, and held management position at Danish telecommunications company TDC and pay TV distributor Canal Digital. Arnesen holds a master degree in marketing from Copenhagen Business School and has attended London Business School, INSEAD and Harvard Business School.

Venuepoint offers tickets for events all over Scandinavia, and Arnesen is going to focus on growth and customer experience. CTS Eventim became a part-owner of Venuepoint, when entering into a JV with Egmont, Denmark’s larges media company, in 2016. Egmont owned Nordisk Film, which in turn owned Venuepoint.
