Empire Agency Opens Denver Office, Adds Two Agents Repping Alpha Blondy, Inner Circle, Others

Los Angeles-based The Empire Agency has officially opened a Denver office with veteran agent Ira Sweetwine, previously of the Sweetwine Entertainment Group, at the head.

Sweetwine’s artist roster includes Anuhea, Alpha Blondy, Inner Circle, and others.

“The amount of traffic touring through the Denver market combined with the emerging local talent and veteran promoters make it very desirable to have a footprint in the city,” Empire Agency President Zack Johnson said. “Ira’s local knowledge and 10 years of experience running his agency in Denver made it clear he would be a great partner for us.”

Other artists on Empire’s roster include Long Beach Dub All Stars, Dilated Peoples, Morgan Heritage, and many others.

Veteran agent Chris Cate has also joined the LA office, bringing Zach Deputy, Deadphish Orchestra and others. 

The agency’s partners are Johnson, Kevin Zinger and Ivory Daniel, who opened Empire officially in 2016.
