Paul Parks – Thirty Seconds To Mars
A new album is on the way for Thirty Seconds To Mars, and the group has announced an outing to complement the project, with Walk The Moon, Misterwives, K.Flay, Joywave and Welshly Arms coming along for the ride.
The new dates break into two legs, with MisterWives and Joywave joining on the first portion in June, and K.Flay and Welshly Arms hopping on for the latter part in July. Walk The Moon is on board for the whole shebang.
The routing opens June 6 at Toronto’s Budweiser Stage and follows that with another Canada gig in Montreal June 8. The rest of the trek is in the U.S., moving through the regional Northeast, Midwest, South, Southwest and California.
The last North American date currently on the books is July 22 at Ak-Chin Pavilion in Phoenix. Presales for many shows start Feb. 12 and general onsales start Feb. 16.
Thirty Seconds To Mars is already slated to play Europe starting March 11 at Lanxess Arena in Cologne, Germany, and now the group has added another leg of dates starting Aug. 20 in Stockholm. The group is also scheduled to headline the three day Camp Mars event in Malibu, Calif., Aug. 11-13.
The new album, titled The Monolith is available for pre-order now and can be downloaded starting April 6. It includes the singles “Walk On Water” and “Dangerous Night”.
Last year the group toured with Muse and Pvris and did a handful of festivals. They helped Muse make it to No. 140 on the Year End Top 200 North American Tours chart for 2017.
