Lollapalooza Berlin rolls out the lineup for the fourth edition of Perry Farrell’s extravaganza. Along with The Weeknd, Kraftwerk 3D, Imagine Dragons, and The National, the two days of wall-to-wall music will also welcome David Guetta, Kygo, Casper, Armin Van Buuren, Liam Gallagher, Ben Howard, Dua Lipa and more.
As they say in the real estate game, “Location, location, location.”
Happening Sept. 8-9, Lollapalooza Berlin will party-on at its new digs, Berlin’s Olympic Stadium and Olympic Park, replacing the horserace track in Hoppegarten.
While the latter was a 20-minute train ride from Berlin, the new location puts Lollapalooza in the heart of the city.
The location of the 2017 event drew complaints regarding mass transit, at one point more than 3,000 music fans jammed a train station for hours while waiting for a train to take them back to Berlin, and approximately 30 people reportedly collapsed while waiting, according to multiple reports.
