Leon County Sheriff’s deputies caught up with the performer, whose real name is Kentrell DeSean Gaulden, at Hampton Inn & Suites in Tallahassee, where he was reportedly in town to perform at the Moon nightclub. He was arrested for aggravated assault with a weapon and felony kidnapping charges stemming from an alleged fight with his girlfriend Jania.

Gaulden, 19, appeared in court Feb. 26 and has been transferred to Ware County Jail in Georgia where he is being held without bail, according to TMZ.

This isn’t Gaulden’s first run-in with the law. A judge previously placed him on three years of active supervised probation for his part in a non-fatal, drive-by shooting in Baton Rouge, La., in 2016.
