Evanescence and Lindsey Stirling To Co-Headline Sheds

Not only are Evanescence and Lindsey Stirling partnering for a co-headlining adventure under the stars, but the rock band and the electronic violinist will both be accompanied by a full orchestra.

Produced by Live Nation, the tour of North America’s finest amphitheatres begins July 6 at the Starlight Theatre in Kansas City, Mo., and concludes Sept. 8 at the Sunlight Supply Amphitheater in Ridgefield, Wash.  Destinations include the DTE Energy Music Theatre north of Detroit, Riverbend Music Center in Cincinnati, PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, N.J.; and MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre in Tampa.

Box office results submitted to Pollstar for Evanescence show a band that is well-acquainted with sold-out venues.  The group’s Nov. 5 filled-to-capacity concert at the Orpheum Theatre in Boston, Mass., sold 2,726 tickets for a night’s gross of $145,322.  The band’s late November gig at the Windy City’s Chicago Theatre sold 3,433 of more than 3,500 tickets available, grossing $196,003.

Time and time again Stirling has proven her ability to sell out venues.  Her 2017 tour included her filling up the Paramount Theatre in Seattle, where she sold 2,742 tickets for a night’s gross of $143,985.  Adding up the box office results submitted to Pollstar for Stirling’s November-December 2017 tour of theatres shows more than 48,800 tickets sold for a total gross just over $2.51 million.
