is locking in arena dates throughout the Southwest and Northeast at the end of 2018.The new dates start Nov. 29 at Vivint Smart Home Arena in Salt Lake City and continue for a few weeks, closing Dec. 15 in Boston’s TD Garden. Other arenas in the run include Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix Dec. 2; MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas Dec. 1; and two nights at Madison Square Garden Arena in New York Dec. 12-13.
Tickets to most shows go on sale to the general public March 26, except Phoenix, which goes on sale March 12.
Bocelli opens a series of dates in Europe tomorrow in Zagreb, Croatia, followed by runs in the U.S., Brazil, and additional dates in Europe.
Bocelli can still tickets in North America, as demonstrated by his Valentine’s Day performance at Amalie Arena in Tampa, Fla., where he grossed $2.47 million and moved 14,653 tickets. The singer also sold out Madison Square Garden Arena twice last year, Dec. 13-14 with a gross of $5.05 million and 14,466 tickets moved.
He reached No. 92 on the 2017 Year End Top 200 North American Tours chart with $15.8 million grossed. Those numbers come from seven shows in six cities, largely thanks to an average ticket price of $175.
