Courtney Barnett has added a fall North American routing in support of her upcoming sophomore record, Tell Me How You Really Feel.
Kicking off July 26 at the State Theatre in Portland, Maine, the outing will take Barnett to cities including Denver, Los Angeles, Seattle, Boston and Philadelphia. The tour wraps up with a show at Stubb’s Waller Creek Amphitheater in Austin, Texas.
Pre-sale tickets go on sale March 21, with the general sale beginning March 23.
Tell me How You Really Feel, the Australian singer-songwriter’s follow up to her Grammy-nominated debut, drops May 18 via Mom + Pop Music. The record’s lead singles “Need A Little Time” and “Nameless, Faceless” are currently available for streaming.
Barnett is already booked for summer tour to support the album’s release. That outing begins April 29 with a set at Fortress Festival in Fort Worth, Texas.
“She’ll be hitting every major market through the end of the year,” Paradigm’s Marshall Betts, Barnett’s agent, told Pollstar. “She’s giving every fan an opportunity to buy a ticket.”
Last year Barnett toured with fellow folk rocker Kurt Vile. The trip hits theaters across North America and saw high-grossing shows at the Fox Theater in Oakland, Calif., selling 2,828 tickets and grossing $118,625; and at Washington, D.C.’s The Anthem, moving 2,427 tickets and grossing $125,022.
