G-Eazy and Lil Uzi Vert submit “The Endless Summer Tour” for your inspection: a 32-city adventure that includes Ty Dolla $ign, YBN Nahmir, and P-Lo, plus Murda Beatz delivering “special performances.”
The road trip begins July 20 at White River Amphitheatre in Auburn, Wash., near Seattle and concludes at Coral Sky Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach, Fla. Markets include San Diego, Chicago, Toronto, Detroit, Pittsburgh and Tampa.
Of course, there’s an official tour trailer.
There’s also a video documentary exploring G-Eazy’s rise to the top of the charts. Directed by Rob Semmer, creative director at The Fader, “These Things Happened” gives you a behind-the-scenes glimpse via backstage interviews, concert clips and footage of G-Eazy’s Oakland, Calif., home town. Watch it here.
The tour’s “Endless Summer” moniker comes from G-Eazy’s mixtape of the same name that the rapper released in 2011. G-Eazy’s latest studio album, The Beautiful & Damned, arrived in December.
G-Eazy christened his June-August 2016 outing with Logic “The Endless Summer Tour.” The journey, which also included YG, Preme, Kodak Black and others, varied in attendance. The July 20 show at Veterans United Home Loans Amphitheater in Virginia Beach, Va., sold 5,718 out of 20,055 tickets and grossed $146,695. However, the Mountain View stop, which happens to be across San Francisco Bay from Oakland, sold all 21,374 tickets and grossed $585,578.
Presales are ongoing and general onsales launch March 23. Keep checking Pollstar’s G-Eazy page for updates.
