Halsey keeps it honest for the crowd at iHeartRadio Jingle Ball at Madison Square Garden Arena in NYC Dec. 8.
The wait is over as our friends at Buzz Angle have solved their technical problems and are once again submitting Elite 100 charts. XXXTentacion shot up from No. 48 to No. 4 in the three weeks since the last chart was released.
XXX is riding of the success of his recently released ? album, which dropped March 16. The rapper’s sales have increased across the board, with the highest spike in streaming, which jumped from 17.6 million to 76.3 million. His album sales also rose to 1,000 and song sales to 34,200.
A recently surfaced video that appears to show XXX hitting a woman in the head might drop him off the chart in the next few weeks, though the footage appears dated and the rapper has faced backlash several times before while maintaining enough sales to be included on the chart.
XXX has an upcoming trial for a case in which he allegedly kidnapped and beat his ex-girlfriend. He’s been trying to re-brand his image since he was he was hit with 15 felony charges related to the trial.
Drake reclaims the No. 1 spot after he was dethroned by Bon Jovi (who is not even on the chart this week) in early March. The rapper buries everyone else with 2,600 albums sales, 72,000 song sales and 122.1 million streams.
He is still likely enjoying the success of the recently released Scare House EP, which featured singles “God’s Plan” and “Diplomatic Immunity.” Drizzy’s next performance – his first of 2018 – will be at 98UPD Ufest in Tempe, Ariz., April 20.
Five Finger Death Punch moved up as well, climbing from No. 79 to No. 50. The band’s sales have increased on all platforms with 6,800 album sales, 18,200 song sales and 10.5 million streams. Their newly announced album and tour dates have likely gotten fans riled up.
Five Finger Death Punch hits the road later this year, beginning with a set at the 98UPD Ufest.
Halsey is back on the chart at No. 52 after releasing her new single “Alone,” featuring Big Sean and Tefflon Don. The single is evidently doing well, as Halsey boasts 18,100 song sales and 17.7 million streams.
The singer also recently announced the final leg of her Hopeless Fountain Kingdom World Tour, beginning April 19 in Auckland, New Zealand.
Other new artists on the chart include The Decemberists (No. 92), who recently released a new album, and Luke Combs (No. 88) who just debuted a new single.
Expect to see Deadmau5, Kacey Musgraves and Cardi B making their entries onto the chart in the coming weeks, as all have new albums dropping in late March and early April.
