Glen Phillips & Company lace up their travelin’ boots come July for a month-long road trip beginning in San Diego.  Stops on Toad The Wet Sprocket’s upcoming tour include Spokane, Kansas City, Chicago and New York.

Not only does Toad promise new music this year but the band will appear on two compilation releases.  Look for their “One Of These Days” track on the soundtrack for the animated “Animal Crackers” film, while the song “Nothing Can Stop My Love” graces the Roger Miller tribute album.

Meanwhile, Toad The Wet Sprocket continues to support its 2013 New Constellation album as well as 2015’s The Architect Of Ruin EP.

The band’s 2017 travels included a sold-out show at the Variety Playhouse in Atlanta where fans purchased all 665 tickets, making for a $33,620 final gross.  Data submitted to Pollstar shows Toad selling 589 tickets and grossing $24,738 for a show at The Fillmore in San Francisco, and moving 1,028 tickets and grossing $42,786 at the Libbey Bowl in Ojai, Calif.

Spotify’s “Fan First” initiative is handling the presale action.  Fans who follow Toad The Wet Sprocket on the music streamer will be emailed a special code for the advance ticketing.  VIP Meet & Greets pretty much function as the title implies and include tour laminates, an autographed tour poster along with a premium seat.  In the case of a general admission show, the premium seat will be swapped out for early entry.

General onsales begin April 6.  Keep checking Toad The Wet Sprocket’s page on Pollstar for updates.
