There’s a new festival brewing in Asbury Park, N.J., and it has booked Jack Johnson and Incubus to headline the two-day blowout.  Sea.Hear.Now will also welcome Social Distortion, Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals, Brandi Carlile, Milky Chance, Blondie and many, many others.

Happening on the beach Sept. 29-30, Sea.Hear.Now will field three stages at North Beach Asbury Park and Bradley Park. The lineup also includes Kaleo, The Front Bottoms, Frank Turner And The Sleeping Souls,

But organizers are planning not only a music event but an experience spotlighting unique art and surf culture experiences. Photographer / filmmaker / Jersey Shore native Danny Clinch will recreate his Transparent Gallery space and exhibit his photographs of artists appearing at the fest.

Surfing will also be a part of Sea.Hear.Now with pro surfers like Sam Hammer, Balaram Stack, Rob Kelly and Mike Gleason showing off their skills in Expression Sessions.

“Sea.Hear.Now is a long-time dream of ours,” Clinch said in a statement.  “To have our musician, surfer and artist friends come to Asbury Park this September to play some music, ride some waves and make some art.  We come from the Jersey Shore and we believe in Asbury Park.  It is one of the coolest beach cities in America, if not the world.  We are ready to go!”
