K2 Booking Agency Acquires E.G.O Agency Ltd In The UK

E.G.O founder Jim Morewood and his long-time colleague Yerry Stetter join the K2 team, alongside E.G.O’s entire roster of artists. Morewood is taking up the position of senior booking agent.

Both men strengthen K2 booking team of CEO John Jackson, Jane Miller, Leo Benton and Sharon Richardson. K2 has also acquired E.G.O artist roster, which includes Devin Townsend, Meshuggah, Fear Factory, All That Remains, Royal Republic, John Garcia, De Staat, The Rasmus and Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats.

Jackson and Morewood used to work together at Helter Skelter, which Jackson left for K2 in 2002. Morewood also worked at ITB, MPI and Mean Fiddler in the past.

Jackson said he was “delighted to be working with Jim again,” adding, “we all look forward to welcoming Yerry to K2. Their combined skills will further enhance the strengths of K2 as the leading international hard rock booking agency.”

Morewood said, he was looking forward to an “exciting future with John,” and Stetter added: “I am excited by this great opportunity of joining the renowned team at K2, whom I have known and enjoyed working with for many years.”

Pollstar was told that no staff at E.G.O had to be let go.
