Firefly Replaces StubHub With TickPick
Delaware’s Firefly Music Festival has replaced StubHub with TickPick as its official third-party ticket vendor.
TickPick will operate a will call booth at the festival, set June 14-17 at The Woodlands in Dover, Del. The booth will offer an allotment of face-value festival passes.
Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, The Killers and the Arctic Monkeys are headlining Firefly this year, making 2018 the first time the festival has showcased two hip-hop headliners, according to The News Journal. Additional sets include Lil Wayne, Odesza, Portugal. The Man, SZA, MGMT and Logic, among others.
“Our selection by Firefly Music Festival is a big deal for us,” TickPick CEO and co-founder Brett Goldberg said in a statement. “The modern millennial-aged consumer wants transparency and simple mobile transactions. We provide both.”
New York-based TickPick is an up-an-comer in the secondary ticketing platform market, competing with StubHub, SeakGeek, and TicketIQ.
Now in its seventh year in Delaware, Firefly is produced by Red Frog Presents, which is partnered with Coachella-promoter Goldenvoice.
