The Chris Robinson Brotherhood make s a stop at Sala But in Madrid, Spain, March 5.

If idle hands are the Devil’s workshop, then Ol’ Scratch won’t find safe haven with Chris Robinson.  Not only is the artist spending spring with his As The Crow Flies band playing Black Crowes songs, but he’ll take the Brotherhood out for a July-August road trip.

Clubs and theatres are on the The Chris Robinson Brotherhood’s schedule.  That is, when they are not playing festivals like Wanee in Live Oak, Fla., Spain’s Azkena Rock Fest in Estonia and California’s High Sierra Music Fest. The Brotherhood will also keep up its own annual tradition of playing the Stone Pony in Asbury Park, N.J., every year.

The Chris Robinson Brotherhood has played for audiences big and small.  Data submitted to Pollstar shows the band selling out venues like the Boulder Theater in Boulder, Colo., where tickets purchased by 1,150 fans resulted in a $30,128 total gross.  But not every night was filled-to-capacity.  One example is a November 2017 gig at The Intersection in Grand Rapids that sold 418 tickets and grossed $8,450.

Fans have more than tour dates to look forward to this year.  The Chris Robinson Band’s Record Store Day exclusive is a limited edition, four LP box set arriving April 21 that is a complete recording of the group’s Sept. 23, 2017 show at the Bijou Theatre in Knoxville, Tenn.  The release also marks the first vinyl edition from the band’s “Raven’s Reels” digital stash.  Only 1,200 copies are being released.

Tickets for the summer tour go on sale April 20 at 10 a.m. local time.  Keep checking Pollstar’s Chris Robinson Brotherhood page for updates.
