Boyz II Men play the Vegas Strong Benefit Concert at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas Dec. 1.
Live Nation Urban’s Summer Block Party tour adds Philadelphia, returns to Houston for a second year, and adds a second night in its Chicago.
Since the Summer Block Party began in Chicago it seems only fitting that the Windy City gets the festival for two evenings.
“We feel blessed to be able to continue to build and grow this Summer Block Party platform; it’s important to give R&B artists and fans a place to engage in a live setting,” said Live Nation Urban president Shawn Gee in a statement. “I’m looking forward to the shows this year and adding even more cities to the series next year.”
While lineups differ depending on the city, fans can look forward to performances by Miguel, Fantasia, Keith Sweat, Babyface, Boyz II Men, Brandy, Ja Rule & Ashanti , DJ Jazzy Jeff, Ludaris, Jill Scott, Kevin Ross, Ne-Yo, and Tank on select dates.
Here’s the plan:
June 30 – Philadelphia, Pa., Mann Center For Performing Arts

July 7 – The Woodlands (Houston), Texas, The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion
