Avast, me hearties!  The 2019 Monsters Of Rock Cruise has revealed a high-seas lineup that includes Tesla, Cinderella’s Tom Keifer, Extreme, Queensrÿche, Saxon, Skid Row, U.D.O., Kix, D.A.D., Danger Danger, Richie Kotzen, Kings X,

Taking over Royal Caribbean’s Mariner Of The Seas, the ninth annual Monsters Of Rock Cruise departs Miami Feb. 24 for an epic voyage that includes stops in Jamaica and on a private island before returning March 1.  Word is the mighty Mariner will undergo a “stem-to-stern 100-million-dollar makeover” before February.

Still not feeling your sea legs?  Perhaps naming more bands will shiver your timbers.  The lineup also includes The Quireboys, Pink Cream 69, The Wildhearts, Rose Tattoo, Eclipse, SOTO, Killer Dwarfs, Brighton Rock, Vain, Mike Tramp, John Corabi, Bullet Boys and others.

The Monsters Of Rock Cruise will also see the return of Eddie Trunk of Sirius XM’s “Trunk Nation,” returning as host.  There will also be several Q&As moderated by San Francisco radio host Nikki Blakk and Luc Carl of SiriusXM’s “Hair Nation.”  Plus, “That Metal Show” co-hosts Don Jamieson and Jim Florentine will deliver the funny.

In addition to shipboard concerts the cruise will offer activities like photo experiences with the artists, Gong Show Karaoke, a So You Think You Can Shred competition, a Bonzai Pipeline Surfing contest, a Name That Monster Song challenge, Painting With Rock Stars, an artist beer event, themed nights, private dinners with bands and more.

The private island of Labadee will offer cruisers plenty of adventures, such as snorkeling, wave jet rides, parasailing and kayak tours. One highlight is the Dragon’s Breath Flight Line, described as “the world’s longest zip line over water.”

The public on-sale began this week with cabins starting at $1,299 plus government fees, taxes and gratuities.  Check out Pollstar’s Monsters Of Rock Cruise page for more details.
