Seven-member South Korean boy band BTS has announced its “Love Yourself” tour, with multiple dates at major North American venues like Staples Center in Los Angeles, United Center in Chicago, and Prudential Center in New Jersey as well as European dates including The O2 London from September to October.

Seoul-based Big Hit Entertainment says more is to come: “We have only released the concert schedule whose dates and venues have been confirmed, and will announce further schedules as they are confirmed later on.” Dates and venues include three at Staples Center (Sept. 5, 6, 8) and one at Oakland’s Oracle Arena Sept. 12, two at Fort Worth Convention Center in Texas Sept. 15-16, three at FirstOntario Centre in Hamilton (Sept. 20, 22, 23), two at Prudential Center in New Jersey Sept. 28-29 and two at Chicago’s United Center Oct. 2-3.
European dates include two at The O2 London Oct. 9-10, two at Mercedes-Benz Arena in Berlin (Oct. 16-17) and two at AccorHotels Arena in Paris Oct. 19-20. The whole shebang kicks off with just two South Korean shows Aug. 25-26, suggesting the boy band fully intends to solidify its touring presences overseas.
Boxoffice reports submitted for BTS, also known as Bangtan Boys, include May 26 last year at Qudos Bank Arena, which sold 11,023 tickets and grossed $2.05 million, and two nights at Prudential Center March 23-24 of 2017, which sold out 22,612 tickets and grossed $3.34 million for AEG Presents.

BTS will release its third studio album LOVE YOURSELF ‘Tear’ May 18, and is set to perform a world television premiere of a new song in Las Vegas at the 2018 BBMAs. In November, BTS became the first K-Pop group to perform at the American Music Awards, and the group made a splash on Pollstar’s Elite 100 chart in September, likely the first time a Korean-language artist has made it anywhere near the top.
