Nearly 50 years old, Seattle’s Bumbershoot Music And Arts Festival begins naming names as organizers unveil a lineup that includes J. Cole, The Chainsmokers, SZA, Fleet Foxes, Lil Wayne, Ludacris, Blondie, Illenium, Portugal. The Man, Cold War Kids, Bishop Briggs, Dvsn, Chromeo and others.
Presented by One Reel and AEG Presents Pacific NW, Aug. 31 through Sept. 2 is when the 48th annual Bumbershoot Fest will field more than 100 acts performing on the 74-acre festival grounds surrounding the Seattle Center. Along with three days of wall-to-wall music, Bumbershoot will present top comedians as well as up-and-coming laugh getters, literary visionaries, arts and culture.
Once again famed Seattle restaurateur Dan Bugge will present a hand-picked selection of the Emerald City’s finest foods.
And you’ll need that food to fuel you through all that music. This year’s lineup also includes RL Grime, Phoenix, Young Thug, T-Pain, Mura Masa, Gryffin, Tinashe, The Revolution, Kelela, and Tritonal.
Tickets, including three-day, VIP and Emerald passes, go on sale May 4 at 12 p.m. PDT. Keep an eye on Pollstar’s Bumbershoot Music And Arts Festival page for updates.
